Microsoft testing new taskbar for Windows 11 |

Microsoft is now rolling out a new Windows 11 Insider Build that includes a slew of new features and tweaks, including a revamped taskbar and widget table. A tablet-optimized taskbar is included in the new edition, which takes up less screen space and only shows relevant information. Microsoft is putting Windows 11's tablet-optimized taskbar to the test. Swiping down from the bottom of the screen activates the new minimised taskbar. This hides the default taskbar and replaces it with a new, slimmer one that only displays essential information like the clock, Wi-Fi, and battery level. Swiping up will reveal the enlarged taskbar. Microsoft has started testing this new taskbar which is highly optimized for use with tablets. The widget table has also been redesigned by Microsoft. Widgets and the news feed were previously aesthetically distinct; now they appear as a dynamic mixed feed. This release includes 37 new emojis as part of the Emoji 14.0 package, but we have yet to see the 3D emoji that Microsoft shown earlier. |
